Kolkata: The million dollar question going through the minds of all Red and Gold fans is whether their Korean missile is returning to the East Bengal starting xi against Salgaocar at Tilak Maidan in Vasco, Goa. East Bengal Head coach Biswajit Bhattacharya is yet to take a decision on Do-Dong-Hyun which he will take on match day morning. But from his quotes it is understood that Dong may return to the 18- member squad.

In the last match against Salgaocar at Barasat, East Bengal defeated them 2-1 from late winner from Bello Rasaq. Dong had to miss out the last match against Salgaocar too  where he was not handed a place in the reserve bench.

It is also learnt that Harmonjot Singh Khabra is also returning to the 18-member squad against Salgaocar. Saumik Dey may be given a rest and he may make way for Narayan Das. Rahul  Bheke will have to sit out in this match due to some poor performances while Samad may get a chance in the right  back position as the U-22 quota.

Biswajit Bhattacharya later quoted as saying, “Though we won the match against Salgaocar at home 2-1 there is no scope of taking Salgaocar lightly. Salgaocar did not play well against Mohun Bagan but they will be desperate to bounce back against us. We have to be aware of that.”

Biswajit Bhattacharya later revealed , “Tilak Maidan is a small ground and the playing surface is also not ideal for good football.”

On Daryl Duffy, the highest scorer of the league till now , Biswajit seemed to made up a strategy on him. He signed off saying, ‘ Duffy is no doubt a good striker. He is an opportunistic striker. We have to be careful against him and not provide him with any silly chance. Our strategy is set against Duffy but I won’t reveal now.”
