Kolkata: Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan will face Calcutta Customs in their fourth match of the Calcutta Football League on August 27. Ahead of that the Bagan players had a gym session today at their club tent today. The Green & Maroon brigade’s star goal-keeper Shilton Paul got an injury in their last match against Patha Chakra couple of days back which Bagan won by 5-2. Though he is fully fit now and available to play the next game against Customs.

The whole team spent ample time sweating in the gym. Mohun Bagan coach Shankarlal Chakraborty didn’t say anything regarding his team’s preparation for the next encounter. The Green & Maroon’s star forward Ansumana Kromah is in sublime form in the current Calcutta League. Except playing he is also famous among the Bagan supporters for his hair-style. Kromah has a white border in the middle of his head and the colour of the other two sides of his hair is black.

Surprisingly Kromah credited a current East Bengal player for helping him to choose his hairstyle. Kromah played for Goan outfit, Churchill Brothers in last I-League season where Surabuddin Mullick was his team mate, who is currently playing in East Bengal. Both of them are still good friends. It was Surabuddin who took Kromah to a parlour and suggested him to take this haircut.

“I have seen the last game of East Bengal on TV. Surabuddin played brilliantly in that match. His second goal against Peerless was a sheer class. I am very happy that he scored a hat-trick. We are very good friends and we regularly talk to each other through phone or what’s app,” said Kromah.

East Bengal will face Southern Samity today at their home ground today. Before going to the club tent, Surabuddin too opened up about his friendship with Kromah.”When we were in Churchill during last season, I suggested him to take this haircut. Kromah wanted to dye his hair entirely white but I requested him to try out a Mohawk,” said Azharuddin.
