Hjorring, Denmark: After winning the opening match of their campaign by a comprehensive margin of 3-0, Durbar Sports Academy kept the winning momentum going in the second match against Stord FB of Norway too. Coincidentally, this victory was also by a same margin of 3-0. Ujjal Bag (7′ and 24′) scored a braced while Kaushik Santra (14′) scored the other goal for the Kolkata side.

This performance against Stord FB was a much compact performance by Durbar boys as they got accustomed to the conditions pretty well this time from the first match. The connection between the defense, midfield and forwards was the highlight of the match.

The duo of Ujjal Bag and Kaushik Santra scored in the opening match too and including the brace from this match Ujjal has now a tally of 3 goals in the tournament.

Coach Biswajit Majumdar was very sharp with his tactics and strategies and it seemed he did his home work on the opponent team as he was present on the ground and took a note of all when Stord FB played their first match earlier in the day.

Kaushik and Ujjal seemed with their individual performances and they said, “We are very happy with our performance but its a team effort and we need to win the final match of the group stage to confirm our place in the next round.”

The most important thing which was noticed amongst each and every players were that they never looked over confident and it was clearly seen from their faces that they are here to prove something.

Durbar Sports Academy will next face Klebe SK which is also a team from Norway on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. local time (9 p.m. IST). If they beat them Durbar will confirm their place in the next round.
