Will Cristiano Ronaldo stay at Juventus for another season? Image: Twitter @Cristiano

Xtra Time Web Desk: Portugal and Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday shared a cryptic post on his social media handle instagram, hinting a possible exit from the Serie E club. The Portugese superstar said he had achieved everything what he dreamt of before joining the Italian club.

“This year we couldn’t win Serie A, congratulations to Inter for the well-deserved title. However, I have to value everything that we achieved this season at Juventus, both in collective and individual terms. The Italian Super Cup, the Italian Cup and the Serie A Top Scorer trophy fill me with happiness, mainly due to the difficulty they carry with them, in a country where nothing is easy to win,” Ronaldo said.

Although Juventus missed out on the Serie A title for the first time in 9 years with Inter winning the championship after an 11-year gap, Cristiano Ronaldo finished as the top-scorer with 29 goals. The club also won the Italian Super Cup and the Italian Cup. However, they were left disappointed bowing out of UEFA Champions League in the round of the 16 to Porto.

Ronaldo has been linked to multiple European powerhouses including a possible return to Real Madrid, who have been struggling since his departure from the club in 2018. He has also been linked to PSG and a return to Manchester United.
