Virat Kohli continues to leave the cricket world in awe. On Sunday, the former India captain created history by crossing the 15,000-run mark in ODI cricket, becoming only the second player after Sachin Tendulkar to achieve the remarkable feat.

Kohli produced a sensational innings of 139 off just 88 balls, leaving even his teammates stunned by what they had witnessed.

Prasidh Krishna took to social media to describe the knock as unbelievable. He revealed that while sitting outside, the Indian players were wondering how Kohli could possibly be stopped. Krishna also said that they had grown up watching Kohli and expressed his excitement over witnessing another extraordinary performance from the batting superstar.

India captain Shubman Gill also praised Kohli, saying that the veteran batter is currently playing with much more freedom and simply enjoying his cricket. Gill posted a picture with Kohli on social media along with the caption, “Fiery Innings hi kehde.”

Former cricketers were equally impressed. Mohammad Kaif said Kohli is enjoying the best form of his career. Irfan Pathan reacted with the words, “Virat Kohli ka daur kal bhi tha, aaj bhi hai.” Former India pacer Munaf Patel hailed him as an extraordinary chase master.

Amid all the praise, another dream has started gaining momentum among Kohli’s fans — can he reach 100 international centuries and match Sachin Tendulkar’s iconic record?

Kohli currently has 86 international centuries. With India potentially having a maximum of 24 matches left if they reach the World Cup final, he would need 14 centuries from those games to reach the magical three-figure mark.

That may appear an extremely difficult target. But after another extraordinary performance from Kohli, his fans are refusing to stop dreaming.
