Though the hosts South Africa has already taken an unassailable 0-2 lead in the series and eyeing for a whitewash, but everyone is talking about the pitch as it has been proved to be a dangerous one for the batsmen. On this surface, the Men in Blue scored 187 runs while batting first. From the very first day the pitch started behaving mysteriously. South African star batsman Hasim Amla was hit on his ribs on a delivery of Jasprit Bumrah during the final session of second day’s play. On day 3 pitch report it was seen that the cracks were wide open which would allow a lot of movement off the turf. Proving the predictions right Indian opener Murali vijay had taken many blows on his body before getting out last over before lunch.  The cricket fraternity criticised the pitch on twitter and termed it an ‘unfair’play.
