Commonwealth TT : India set up semifinal clash with England
Surat , December 17 : Indian women finished on top in Stage 2 of the 20th Avadh Commonwealth TT Championships at the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium here on Thursday . Similarly, Singapore women topped Group E and will clash with Wales, who finished behind India in Group F after beating Cyprus 3-0, in the other semifinal. England defeated Sri Lanka to take the number 2 position in Group E. So far, the Indian women have had comfortable 3-0 verdicts against all their opponents in the two stages, but Singapore faltered once in stage 2 and had a 3-1 score-line against England. The Indians, playing alongside in court Number 2, must have taken note of this as they prepare to meet England in the semifinals. For the first time in two days, India’s think-tank on the bench tried out both Ankita Das and Divya Deshpande along with the top-ranked Indian Manika Batra against Cyprus. It was a complete success story, like the earlier ones when Mouma Das and Shamini Kumaresan participated. The victory also ensured that India keep their top position intact.

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
