Commonwealth Games 2022: Neeraj Chopra to lead 37-member Indian athletics contingent

Xtra Time Web Desk: Tokyo Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra will lead India’s 37 member athletics contingent for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham starting next month from July 28 to August 8. The Athletics Federation of India on Thursday announced the contingent for CWG 2022.

AFI president Adille Sumariwalla expressed confidence that the squad would deliver quality performances. Although selected, some of the athletes will have to prove their form and fitness before the Birmingham Games.
