Colin Munro’s unbeaten innings was studded with 7 sixes and 1 four . Martin Guptill took just 19 deliveries to bring up his eighth half century in the shortest format of the game before he was dismissed for 63 after smashing 6 boundaries and 5 sixes. Kiwi Captain Kane Williamson was 32 not out from 21 balls as the visitors completed victory within 10 overs.

Lankan opener Tillakaratne Dilshan scored a streaky 28. No other Lankan batsmen got into double figures. Grant Eliott was the peak among the Black  Cap bowles taking 4-22.
