XtraTime Web Desk – Another goalless draw in this year’s Indian Super League as both Chennaiyin and NorthEast failed to create a goal scoring chance throughout the match.
Chennaiyin started the match in a very attacking manner as Chhangte missed a chance to put Chennaiyin ahead. The match was more about possession from that point as neither team was able to create any chance that could’ve given them the legs. The first half ended 0-0 as few players looked tired because of their busy schedule.
In the second half, NorthEast created a great opportunity to score but it was Vishal Kaith who rescued them. Minutes later, it was Chennaiyin’s opportunity to go ahead but Sylla failed to hit it on target. Chhangte missed another great opportunity when he failed to convert a 1v1 opportunity from a rebound. He failed to keep the shot on target.
With few easy chances missed and some lackluster football, the match ended 0-0.
