Kolkata: At last the CFL derby’s date and venue between East Bengal and Mohun bagan is finalised by the IFA on Thursday. The two arch-rivals will be facing each other for the first time this season on 7th September in Kalyani. After Salt lake stadium and Siliguri, Kalyani stadium will be the third venue to organise a derby.

A temporary gallery will be formed only for this match at Kalyani Municipal Corporation stadium which will have a crowd capacity of 16,000. 25% of the tickets will be given to the two clubs and the remaining 50% remaining will be on sale by IFA. The match will commence from 3 p.m.

The other two big matches between East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting and Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting will be held on 11th Sept. and 14th Sept respectively in the same venue at Kalyani from 3 p.m. onward.

Ahead of the big derby, the two giants will play two more matches. East Bengal is slated to face Southern Samity (27th August) and George Telegraph (1st Sept.) while Mohun Bagan will face Tollygunge Agragami (29th August) and United SC (2nd Sept.).

Meanwhile, IFA Disciplinary Committee has asked the Army XI coach and footballers to be present in the IFA office for the incident which happened in Barasat on Aug 23. The Army coach B.B. Kakkar and the footballers were alleged for beating up fourth official of that match Uttam Sarkar.

On the other hand, IFA has asked for the video footage of the match between East Bengal and Tollygunge Agragami. The Red and Gold officials are alleged of showing their grievances against the referee of that match. The same allegation is on United SC official Nabab Bhattacharya and asked for the video footage for the same reason.
