Kolkata: After beating Mohun Bagan, now Peerless beat another Kolkata giant East Bengal 0-1 in a crucial Calcutta Football League 2019 encounter at East Bengal Club. The only goal was scored by Liberian start forward Ansumana Kromah. During the game two shots of Peerless footballers returned after hitting the crossbar. A header of East Bengal’s Spanish forward Marcos De La Espada also rattled the crossbar but unfortunately it didn’t get into the goal.
At the end of the game things got heated up in the middle. The Red & Gold footballers humiliated the referees while they were leaving the ground, some how the police authority took them to a safe place in the tent. The fans also threw some water bottles towards the police authority & reporters as well in the field.
