The club has been more than a part of his life and a constant resource for the club which was without any sponsor for the last couple of seasons. His financial and moral support helped the team to become stronger at a time when the club was going through a crisis period. In an interaction with www.xtratime.in , Mohun Bagan Assistant Secretary and Tutu Bose's son Srinjoy Bose said, "My dad was not feeling good from the morning. In the last few months, whenever he went to the club, he went with the support with a couple of people. Right now, his health condition is not good at all. He told me that it will not be good for him if he has to go the club on wheel chair. He will always be there for the club. " The club President personally held the team together for so many occasions, specially at the time when the team needed him the most. He was like a shelter and was the source of the entire financial demands. Right when the team was in an uncertain future, battling every now an then with The AIFF, to keep their existence alive, the Bagan President's resignation would certainly be a huge blow to the club as well as for the Kolkata football.
