BCCI President Sourav Ganguly rushed to Apollo hospital after complaining of chest pain again

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was rushed to Apollo Hospital on Wednesday after complaining a chest pain yet again.

Xtra Time Web Desk: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly on Wednesday complained about a chest pain again and had to be rushed to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata. According to sources, he is now in stable condition.

The 48 year old former India captain felt uneasy while sleeping last night and it persisted on Wednesday morning. An echo cardiogram showed minor changes following which his family members decided to take him to Apollo Hospital where his elder brother Snehasish was treated few days back. He was accompanied to the hospital by his wife Dona and close friend Sanjay Das.

As per the last reports, the BCCI President will be kept under observation today. He will undergo tests on Thursday following which the doctors will decide on the future course of action. Sourav underwent a coronary angioplasty at the Woodlands hospital few days back. He was diagnosed with a heart block.

As per release sent out by the Woodlands Hospital: “Coronary Angiography was done at 3 p.m. — Triple vessel disease PTCA (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty) and stenting to RCA or right coronary artery done through radial route”.
