Barcelona signs Ferran Torres from Man City for 55 million euros as a replacement of Sergio Aguero

Xtra Time Web Desk : FC Barcelona were finally able to sign a quality youngster in Ferran Torres for 55 million euros on Tuesday from Manchester City as a replacement of the recently retired Sergio Aguero. The club after Lionel Messi’s departure has been in a torrid phase for the last few months, but this particular signing is expected to help them a lot in terms of improving their performances.


The 21 year old youngster from Spain had a massively successful spell at the Premier League with Manchester City winning the league title and reaching the UEFA Champions league final. Also, the youngster has had a brilliant start to his international career as he has already amassed 12 goals in just 22 appearances for his country. Ferran’s but out clause has also been set at a humongous 1000 million euros by Barca which again proves how much of a valuable asset he is going to be for this team.


Now, with budding youngsters like Pedri, Gavi, Nico, Ansu Fati, Sergino Dest, Raul Araujo, Balde and Ferran Torres sphere heading the forward line, Barcelona are surely a team to look forward in the future.
