Xtra Time Web Desk: It was a great start for India on Day 2 of the ongoing Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou as the Indian men’s shooting team won gold in 10m air rifle event. The trio of Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, Divyansh Singh Panwar, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar smashed world record (1893.7) to clinch gold.

India women’s team has clinched silver in the same event on Day 1. It has been a brilliant showing by the shooters claiming a gold, silver and bronze already so far.

South Korea claimed silver with 1890.1 points, followed by China at 1888.2.

As far as the individual scores are concerned, Rudrankksh Patil had the best outing with 632.5 points and finished third in the qualifying event. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar was not far behind and secured the final spot with 631.6. Unfortunately, Divyansh Singh Panwar missed the finals berth, with a score of 629.6.
