Jagrick Dey: Tiddim Road Athletic Union Football Club(TRAU FC) promoted to the I League for the next season having clinched the 2018/19 2nd Division League title on Sunday in Imphal, becoming the second team from Manipur to play in the top division, first being Neroca FC.

The Nigerian star performer who played for Mohammedan Sporting earlier was very delighted after the match against Ozone FC. He said, “I feel very excited and proud of myself and my teammates that what we couldn’t do last season we archived it now, it gives me a great feeling to be honest but we are not getting carried away by that feeling as we know we still have a lot of work left to be done.”
He had a wonderful memory playing in Kolkata for Mohammedan Sporting. The Nigerian striker also wants to warn the two Kolkata Giants as he said, “I had a wonderful short stint with Mohammedan and playing against MB and EB was just normal for me though I wasn’t lucky enough to score against both giants but for my mates here in Trau FC it will be different. Obviously they will be having a more quality squad but quality alone won’t be enough mostly the spirit, enthusiasm and dedication is required and all of us at Trau FC knows that and that has taken us this far, so my suggestion to the boys will be ( Don’t feel inferior in any way). It will be a proud and exciting moment for all of us here to play against those giants in the big stage and believe me our boys will always give any team a tough fight.”
