Internet Desk : Former Australian all rounder Andrew Symonds is considering a return to the T20 format . Symonds , who  is now playing in the Masters Champions League with Capricorn Commanders  took retirement from international cricket in 2012 .

Symonds, a two time world champions is one of the most prolific all rounder Australia have ever produced. Symonds announced his retirement on 16th February 2012 citing personal reasons. Due to his drinking habits Australian selectors dropped him from the 2009 T20 squad and was sent home.

Symonds appeared in 198 ODIs for Australia. He has scored 5088 runs with an impressive average of 39.44. Symonds has also played 93 T20 matches and has an average of 32.43. Symonds sounds very excited about his comeback.” I suppose I’m in a situation where I could go back, try and get really fit and engage again. Or just be happy doing what I’m doing. That’s something I’ve got to work out in the next six months or so.” He said.

Symonds last T20 was against Pakistan in 2009. He was the consultant with the Australian Twenty20 team in South Africa and also holds a na advisory role with the Brisbane Heat in BBL.
