Internet Desk: Mohun Bagan’s busy schedule continues, as the Green and Maroon brigade will look to maintain their conducive AFC Cup campaign continue against last year’s AFC Cup Runners Up Bengaluru FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium tomorrow. Bagan coach Sanjoy Sen had made it very clear before their previous I-League game against the similar opposition on the 11th March. The Mariners will play their first group league clash against BFC with a different mission, focusing their second I-League title.

In an interaction with www.xtratime.in , Sanjoy Sen said, “As I told before as well, I won’t take any risk in this game with my players and will select the team accordingly. At the same time, if we manage to win this game, it will be a great confidence booster for us when we play them on the 1st of April.”

The Bagan coach previously told that BFC’s performance in the last AFC Cup has been his new motivation and he wanted to give necessary importance to the international tournament. But probably the fixture and the condition of the high-intensity I-League of this season at this stage have forced him to think differently. Though he said, “My boys are pumped up and focused to show their class in the AFC Cup as well. As a coach it is always a delight to have such group of players.

On the other hand, the Bagan coach seemed really happy after East Bengal lost to Chennai City last night. He said, “Well, the league is now wide open. We have an advantage as we still have six games on our hands. If we can beat East Bengal and Aizawl, we’ll be the champions for sure.”
