A disappointed Sanjay Bangar left West Indies after his final stint with Team India

XtraTime Web Desk: The recently concluded series against Windies was the last assignment for India’s current batting coach Sanjay Bangar as he will be replaced by former India batsman Vikram Rathour from the South Africa series. Among the three support staff Bharat Arun, R Sridhar and Bangar only he is the person who was axed by the Indian Senior Team Selectors who are assigned to pick the team’s new support staff.

After the test series the team is going back in two groups. One group is going via United States which includes support staffs along with Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and Pujara. The other group will leave in the afternoon. They will go via UK later on the day. While leaving the hotel Bangar looked very much depressed and it was quite evident as he is the only person who won’t be there with the team anymore.

As he is going back to India it has been learnt from the close sources the other support staff and the members of the team didn’t talk with him much after it was confirmed that it will be Bangar’s last series with the team.

After the first Test Indian players went to Jolly Beach to spend the time off. He was also seen there sitting alone at the beach. As per sources the main reason for his removal is the decision of sending MS Dhoni at numer 7 in the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup semifinal against New Zealand. But it’s a questionable matter that whether he was the only person who took that decision?
