Xtra Time Web Desk: India’s forthcoming tour to the Caribbean has been postponed by a couple of weeks. Virat Kohli and his boys were scheduled to travel to the Caribbean immediately after the World Cup which ends on July 14. It is learnt Cricket West Indies has agreed to BCCI's request of pushing back India's 2019 tour of the Caribbean in order to give the Indian cricketers sufficient rest after the World Cup. The tour is likely to commence on the first week of August and run till September 04. The Men in Blue will play 2 tests, 3 ODI’s and three T20I’s during the tour. The final dates for the India tour along with the venues will be finalised by CWI at its board meeting on May 13. It is learnt that the Indian Cricket Board has also requested its counterpart to keep a provision for the three-day warm-up match ahead of the start of the test series. The Caribbean Premier League has also been rescheduled by CWI in order to get all its players taking part in the league.
