Difficult To Get A Replacement of Schweinstiger in German Football:Daniel Bierofka

Daniel Bierofka, the handsome former  German international and present TSV 1860 Munich head coach is known for his conspicuous vision towards the game of  football . The German gaffer came through the Bayern Munich youth system and made it to the reserve squad as well . Bierhofka had spent three glorious years with Bayer Leverkusen in Bundesliga. He won the Bundesliga Title with VfB Stuttgart as well. Bierofka is now in India for participating in the Nagjee International Club Football Tournament with his team TSV 1860 Munchen. Commentator Suman Chakravorty on behalf of   “XTRATIME” caught up with the man to have a chat with him.

XT) Before coming to India, what were the conceptions you had about Indian football?

Ans)Till now I would say it is a big experience for me and the whole team. I only knew that there is a Super League where my friend Lucio is playing. We have played together in Bayer Leverkusen.

XT) You have played for the Germany national team, what do you think about the new transformation of German football?

Ans) We have some very good young players. In Germany we have very good education of the players but also the Coaches.We have a good mixture of mentality and technique.

XT) Do you have any plan to do coaching in India in future?

Ans)  First I would like to do coaching in Germany. But when you see how the people in India enjoy watching Soccer, maybe in the Future you never know.

XT) According to you who has been the greatest German player and why?

Ans) In my opinion it’s very difficult to say. Every generation had great players. But I like Klinsmann because he was very popular in every country he played.

XT)  How was the night when Germany won the FIFA World Cup?

Ans) It was a fantastic feeling. Because of the way they have played and fought through the whole tournament. Amazing feeling it was.

XT)  What are the 3 things you believe had made the difference in international football from Germany and other teams?

Ans) Every country has its own philosophy but we have a big mentality and the team spirit is very important for us. Also the German football body invested so much money in the education of the young players. Education is very important.

XT) Which had been the most precious moment of your playing career?

Ans) I won the Bundesliga with Stuttgart in 2007, played Champions league and played for my country.

XT) Which has been the most painful phase of your life which u want to forget as a footballer?

Ans)  I had some serious injuries. These are the toughest moments for every footballer.

XT) As a coach who is your idol and why?

Ans) I have been watching training sessions of Guardiola for quite a while.He is absolute fantastic. The Way he coaches his team is absolutely amazing. And how he thinks about Football is just Incredible.

XT) According to you who will be the substitute of Schweinstiger in German football?

Ans) It will be difficult to replace him. He has Great personality besides his fantastic talent. But the onus will be on khedira and other players who have now their chances to prove.
