4th ODI: Peter Handscomb’s brilliant ton helped Australia to level the series against India

XtraTime Web Desk: A gem of a knock from Peter Handscomb of 117 runs helped Australia to beat India by four wickets and level the five-match ODI series 2-2 in the fourth ODI in Mohali on Sunday. Both the Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan (143) and Rohit Sharma (95) were at their best in the first innings but it was not enough due to a dismall bowling show by Indian bowlers later.

Ashton Turner hit an unbeaten 84 to anchor Australia’s 359-run chase as they achieved the target with 13 balls to spare and take the five-match series into the final ODI in Delhi on Wednesday.

A second-wicket partnership between Handscomb, who registered his maiden ODI ton, and Usman Khawaja, who made 91, was key to Australia’s best ever ODI chase against India.
