2018 FIFA WC: Henry could well be the ‘enemy’ of France

XtraTime Web Desk: Former French international, Thierry Henry, will find himself in a very sticky siutation next Tuesday in Saint Petersburg.

A world champion in 1998 with and in his country, Henry will now attempt to eliminate Les Bleus from the World Cup in Russia.

The elimination of Brazil at the hands of ‘his’ Belgium has increased the legend of Thierry Henry against the Canarinha.

It is the third time, since the end of 1998, that the Frenchman has ended Brazilian hopes in a World Cup.

After that final in Paris (3-0), Henry himself scored the goal that eliminated Brazil in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Integrated into Roberto Martinez’s coaching staff with Belgium, the former player of Arsenal and Barcelona has much to lose and to win.
