1st Test Day 4: Dinesh Karthik shares an important weather update from Trent Bridge
Xtra Time Web Desk: India cricketer and commentator Dinesh Karthik on Saturday shared an important weather update ahead of the fourth day’s play from Trent Bridge cricket ground, the venue for the ongoing first test between England and India. According to Karthik, the weather may play spoilsport like Day 2 & 3. He tweeted, “Looks like rain will again play the role of spoiler today”
It does looks gloomy with forecasts of showers on Day 4 of the first test at Nottingham. England is 25/0 in the second innings, still trailing by 70 runs. The hosts batting first scored 183 runs. In reply India posted 278 runs with KL Rahul scoring 84 runs and all rounder Ravindra Jadeja registering his 16th half century in test cricket (56 off 86). If weather does play spoilsport on Day 4 as predicted, then it will be very difficult to get a result.
