Image Source: twitter[/caption] Internet Desk: Parliamentary committee of Pakistan has expressed their reservations over the national team cricketers doing push-ups to celebrate victories during matches. Najam Sethi, the Executive Committee Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board however defended the player’s celebration. Sethi clarified that the celebrations were done at the discretion of players. Sethi, in a tweet further clarified that there was no ban on performing celebratory push-ups by the Cricket Board. Najam-Sethi-tweet However, the statement contradicts Sethi’s reported assurances to the parliamentary committee in which he said the practice was limited to the England tour and would not happen again. Sethi in another tweet added that the media should refrain from politicising the country’s national cricket team. Sethi-tweet Sethi also appreciated the Pakistan Army for providing fitness training facilities to the PCB.
