Image Source : @CricketAus[/caption] Internet Desk: Austin Waugh, son of former Test captain Steve Waugh is living up to his father’s name after hitting a century in the National U17 Championships this week. Waugh showed a striking resemblance to his father on the field - displaying a beautiful sweep shot and performing a celebratory fist-pump that echoed Tugga’s famous aura. His innings included a perfectly-timed off-drive over mid-off for a six that sailed over the fence and out of view. Waugh top-scored for Metro NSW with his his 122 runs from 136 balls, which included four fours and four sixes. Waugh’s innings wasn’t the only thing that had people drawing comparisons with his father after the 16-year old racked up a tournament total of four catches and three run-outs. It’s not the first time Waugh has channelled his father’s legendary skill this year, the 17-year turned heads throughout the duration of the championships, taking the mantle of leading run scorer for Metro NSW with 372 runs at an average of 74.4. Only Queensland’s Angus Lovell, who has hit two centuries and three half-centuries at 80.17, has outscored him. Steve Waugh has made it clear he doesn’t want to put too much pressure on his son, and the relaxed approach seems to be working. If one thing is for certain, this glimpse of class displayed by the young Waugh leaves cricket fans wanting more in future.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4e3e1lilsA
