But you have to watch the biopic to know him as a person as well. It’s a must watch for everyone as it will act as an inspiration to see the struggles of a man from a small town to reaching the pinnacle.” Another good friend of Mahi, Satyaprakash Krishna too was excited to watch the first day first show of the biopic. Satyaprakash still remembers when he first met Dhoni. “It was a district match between Dhanbad and Ranchi in 2001. He played against me and won the match for his side. Since then we have been friends” Talking about his experience of watching the movie, Satyaprakash commented, “It was a nice experience really. The portion of Kharagpur is very well shown in the biopic as Mahi spent 4 years here when he was a collector. He used to play tennis ball cricket. It is a proud feeling to see him where he is today after all his struggles in his early days.” Satyaprakash is also amazed to see how well Sushant Singh Rajput has played his role as Dhoni. “I must say he did a fabulous job. He did look like Dhoni was playing, particularly the way Mahi plays.” Satyabarata, who is now the coach in South Eastern Railway, feel, “Dhoni ek sacha insaan hain. He is never happy with his success but always embraces his failure. He has always worked hard to overcome it. For a man coming from a small town like Ranchi where there is limited facilities, his success story is truly inspiring for everyone.” The story starts with the ICC World Cup final at Wankhede in 2011. Dhoni goes to bat.....A flashback to his birth in a lower middle class family of Ranchi pump operating guy who wants his son to get a good job. A football lover in his early days , how his life is changed to a wicketkeeper and then his inclination to captain. The biopic also shows his struggle and dragging of his life as a TC at Kharagpur station but slowly following his passion and dreams to pursue what is a rare feat. Neeraj Pandey does a candid work as a director yet again making a small town boy into a cricketing legend with sheer brilliance. The first half is captivating and 2nd half soars to the next level with galore a of sixes all across the ground. Good locales, music , tight screenplay and great cinematography. Sushant Singh Rajput did what Farhan did to Milkha. Sushant Singh Rajput has really played well and was totally in the character especially when it came to patented helicopter shot. All others Anupam Kher , Kumud Mishra , his coaches and love were commendable to their roles and performances It's a 190 minutes treat especially of this honest passionate man who played for his country and symbolises cricket as a sport.     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HusdZ-_IWNk
