File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: Gautam Gambhir has been recalled in the test squad after a gap of almost two years. The Delhi opener has been named as a replacement for KL Rahul by the newly appointed selectors for the next two test matches against New Zealand Rahul picked up a hamstring knock in his right leg during the Test match in Kanpur and will be unable to play any further part in the following two matches. Gambhir, 34, played his last Test match in August 2014 during India's tour of England. However, the left hander’s recent performances in the Duleep Trophy earned him a call back to the squad. He remained impressive as he scored 356 runs in the competition from five innings at an average of 71.20. Meanwhile, Haryana off spinner Jayant Yadav, has also been named in the squad in place of Ishant Sharma, who still hasn't recovered in time from chikungunya. He will be a part of the 15-man squad for the 250th Test Match on Indian soil which gets under way at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata from Friday. India has a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series against the Kiwis.
