Image Source: sportsgranny.com[/caption] Internet Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to postpone the forthcoming third One-Day International between India and New Zealand at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi by a day. The match was scheduled to take place on October 19. But with the festival of Karva Chauth clashing with the same date, it was decided by the BCCI to postpone the match by a day. The third ODI will now take place on October 20. According to DDCA vice president CK Khanna, "We are thankful to BCCI for accepting our request of shifting the date by a day. I have received a letter of acknowledgement for the same from BCCI office," The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) had earlier written to the BCCI stating the challenges of hosting a match on the festival day, citing ticket sales that would take a hit. As per PTI, the BCCI has accepted the request and postponed the match by a day, from October 19 to October 20. New Zealand are scheduled to play three Tests followed by five ODIs on their tour to India that kicks off on September 22 in Kanpur.
