Yesterday it was the worst performance as maximum number of athletes were on the track. At first in men’s 50km walking Sandeep Kumar came at ranking 35. However, he advanced a lot coming from 57 rank. In women’s 20km walking there were two contestants. Khusbir Kaur came at rank 56. However, another walker Sapna Punia could not complete her race. India also took part in both men’s and women’s 4*400m relay. Both the teams could not qualify for the final. India was disqualified in the men's 4X400m competition in the Heat 2.  Men's team comprising Muhammed Kunju, Muhammed Anas, Ayyasamy Dharun and Rajiv Arokia clocked 3:02.24 but was disqualified for wrongful change of baton during the anchor leg between Dharun and Rajiv. Women’s team came seventh as last runner Anilda Thomas made up a little. In the wrestling Sandeep Tomar also failed to qualify for the second round. He lost to Lebedev of Russia by 1-3. Indian lone golfer Aditi Ashok also could not produce a good show yesterday. After a good show on Thursday she came at 57rank yesterday. Finally she is in 33spot after third round.
