Famous Bengali Singer Upal from the Band Chandrabindu said, "Although i am a singer but from my childhood i wanted to be a hardcore footballer but may be my physique didn't permit,but i still play Football whenever i get a chance in my area, i am very excited to play the tournament. Not only me Shilajit, Anupam Roy all are looking forward to play in the tournament and perform well. When we are on the field playing football we get physically involved so much that there is no way we are going to take this tournament lightly." Bengal's Ranji trophy player Sourav Mondal who came to the lime light in the first Pink Ball match at the Eden Gardens with a six wicket hall was present in the occasion and said, "Although we are cricketers but we play football whenever we get a chance to play it whether it be at the Eden gardens or in the midst of a cricket practice we cricketers grab the opportunity to play football. All the Bengal cricketers like Me, Anustup, Ashok Dinda we all enjoy playing football and are eagerly waiting to play in this tournament starting from Saturday."
