Xtra Time[/caption] Kolkata: Mohun Bagan's newest recruit of the season defender Daniel Seaborne landed in the city today around 7:15 p.m. Danny plays as a central defender and has a wealth of experience in the English Championship, League One and Scottish Premier League. Danny who started his career at Exeter City FC has played for reputed clubs like Coventry City, Bournemouth, Yeovil Town and Southampton helping the team to two league promotions and even featured in the English Premier League squad. Danny was playing for Partick Thistle FC in the Scottish Premier League for the past two seasons and featured in 35 matches last season also captaining the team. He will add some much needed experience to the club back line and also carries a huge amount of experience while still being in the prime of his career. Darryl Duffy's friend Daniel Seaborne idolise John Terry but follows Italian national team defender Leonardo Bonucci. Leonardo does not have much idea about Indian football but is well aware with the derby between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. He said, "I don't know much about India but I have seen the videos on the derby and I know very well how much importance the derby is to the fans. The stadium remains houseful with almost 1 lakh crowd." Mohun Bagan trained under lights today in their home ground. Mohun Bagan club appealed to IFA to play all their CFL matches at home ground under floodlights. However, that appeal has not been granted. The team at least practiced under floodlights this evening. Taking Aryans as good contestant Mohun Bagan added extra effort on practice. Coach Shankarlal Chakraborty put stress on match by match practice. "We have seen the matches of Aryan. We think they are tough contestant. We are taking the match seriously as it is our first match of the campaign", said Shankarlal. Previously the team management declared that they are not focusing on CFL at all. The day before their first match the coach also echoed the same. "We are not considering CFL. We want to produce a good match in-front of our supporters. We are also not bothered of who won which match in CFL", he added. Mohun Bagan is starting their XI with only one foreigner Darryl Duffy. On the other hand Aryan have three foreigners- Ugochukwu, Moses and Kazem. They also have mostly junior players apart from experienced Duffy. In this situation Duffy appealed to Mohun Bagan supporters to be patient and be by the side of the team. He said, "We have mostly junior players in our side Don't judge the team only seeing the result of the match. Wait and you will have good games from this team very soon." Duffy showed good performances during the practice matches. However, he himself is not giving importance on those practice matches. He said, "Goals scored in practice matches do not go with tournament matches. I want to go for good performance. I want to perform better to motivate the team positively. A win in the first match will change the scenario of the dressing room." He is little worried of the rain as the field would get heavy and slow if it rains tomorrow like today. Likewise his coach he is also not bothered of the wins of East Bengal and Mohammedan in their first matches.
