Image Source: Facebook[/caption] Internet Desk: Team India is set to begin their tour of West Indies, just days after the ICC Champions Trophy. The ICC tournament concludes on 18th of June and then the tour to the Caribbean is slated to begin from the 23rd of June. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) have confirmed India's tour begins from 23rd of June which will involve 5 ODI matches and a T20 match on the West Indian soil. The first two games is scheduled to be played in Queen’s Park Oval while the third and fourth match will be held in Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and the last ODI and the lone T20 match will be played at Sabina Park. India will look to defend their crown in the upcoming Champions trophy while the hosts would seek this series as an opportunity to secure a direct qualification for the ICC ODI World Cup. West Indies are currently ranked ninth in ICC ODI rankings, which are ninth points behind Pakistan. Indies have until the end of September to secure the top eight spots for the World Cup. As a result West Indies would seek this series as a great opportunity to secure their spot for the World Cup.
