File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: India's pace spearhead Mohammed Shami raised concern by slightly injuring his hamstring on day 1 of the first test match against England at Rajkot. Shami got injured while bowling to Joe Root in the 60th over of the England innings. He was seen holding his right hamstring on his follow through after bowling the first delivery. The pacer was rushed to the dressing room as he couldn’t get back to his bowling run up again. Kohli brought Shami back during the 60th over of the game as the Root-Ali duo was handling the Indian spinners quite easily. After bowling his first ball of that over Shami pulled his hamstring and couldn’t continue further. Umesh Yadav had to complete the remaining over. The Bengal pacer did make a return into the ground in the 81st over after taking treatment. He was given the second new ball again as he bowled to Moeen Ali. He bowled 12.1 overs without getting any success. He was unfortunate to see a chance go begging as Ajinkya Rahane spilled an easy catch fielding at slips from England captain Alistair Cook. It was the first over of the day with Cook on zero. Shami recovered from a long term injury few months back and showed good form in the recent series against West Indies and New Zealand. It will be very important how he keeps himself fit for the series as Ishant Sharma too is coming back after chikungunya.
