Source : Hockey India[/caption] Internet Desk : After beating their arch rival Pakistan on Thursday by 3-1 to enter the final of the fourth men’s tournament , the Indian team beat the hosts Bangladesh 5-4 to lift the U-18 Asia Cup trophy in Dhaka on Friday and took the revenge of their group league defeat against Bangladesh. In a well contested match, Indian colts somehow managed to hold their nerves and never crumbled in the dying moments of the final, thus ending the tournament on a high. The match was evenly poised with 1-1 at half time, the second part of the epic clash played out in a hard fought passages . India took the lead quickly to go up 3-2, but 13 minutes later Bangladesh drew the equalizer. Their celebrations were short-lived as India slotted in their fourth goal just seconds later, but then it became 4-4 as Bangladesh scored their fourth goal and refused to back down. A fifth goal with 20 seconds left on the clock made India champions of the tournament with a thrilling victory . Winning the U-18 Asia Cup is one step in the right direction for chief coach Harendra Sing's colts, ahead of the Junior World Cup in India this December.
