Premier League: Arsenal wins against Man United; Bale scored his first goal on return to Spurs
Xtra Time Web Desk: A penalty strike from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave Arsenal a much deserved win over Manchester United in Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday. This was the first win for the Gunners in PL since 2006.
Arsenal was awarded a penalty after Paul Pogba had fouled Hector Bellerin in the box, and Aubameyang made no mistake from the spot kick in the 69th minute of the match to end the Gunners' hoodoo, which had lasted since 2015.
Arsenal's deserved win moves them into the top half while Manchester United has just seven points from six games.
In another Premier League clash Gareth Bale scored his first goal since return to seal a 2-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at home. The Welshman scored first goal since return to Tottenham Hotspurs to help Jose Mourinho's side up to second.
