IPL 2020: Chris Gayle is fined for breaching IPL's code of conduct
Chris Gayle on Friday lost his cool after getting out on 99. Gayle was hammering all the bowlers of Rajasthan Royals before Jofra Archer took his vital wicket. This way Chris Gayle missed his century by just one run.
After getting out on 99, Gayle manifested his disappointment by swunging his bat which went flying till the mid wicket. This has put the Universe Boss in trouble as he breached IPL's code of conduct and is now fined 10% of his match fees for this behaviour. Chris Gayle didn't complain and accepted his mistake and the fine.
Gayle is normally calm, composed and happy-go-lucky man! This kind of behaviour is not something fans expect from Chris Gayle. However, he was very happy in the mid match conference where he said, “I missed out today (century) but in my mind, it is a century (laughs)”.
The 41 year old Chris Gayle on Friday set another record. Chris Gayle becomes first batsman to hit 1000 T20 sixes and no one is even closer to beat him to this. Gayle also reached 13,000 T20 runs which is a record of its own.
Even though he missed his 23rd T20 hundred by a whisker, Chris Gayle looks hungry for more!

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
