Dhoni, Kapil shoot with replica World Cup Trophy in Kolkata
Debasis Sen, Kolkata: Two former World Cup winning captains MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev will be seen with the replica trophy of World Cup in the new commercial of a city based TMT bars company. The commercial, shot in a posh city club is directed by popular Tollywood Director Dhrubo Banerjee.
The two former India captains will be seen in formals during the ad shoot. 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev was involved in a shoot on Monday as well in a Bengali kurta pajama. Dhoni, who led Team India to 2011 World Cup, was busy shooting on Tuesday along with the Haryana Hurricane.
Dhoni arrived at the club around 11:15 am in a black tee and jeans. He headed straight on the third floor of the club where the set was ready. The wicketkeeper batsman had kebabs for lunch. There were a few fans who presented him (Dhoni) with a statue of Buddha.
Couple of years back the duo was involved in a shooting together for the same TMT bars for which they are the brand ambassadors at the Eden Gardens. They were in the whites then but this time though they were in formals. The top officials of the Kolkata based company is tight lipped as to when the commercial will go on air. In one of the sequence in the new commercial, the two former World Cup winning captains will be seen with a replica trophy.
Kapil has been in the city since Monday and was chief guest at an event in Ballygunge Shiksha Sadan (BSS) girls school.
