Image Source: IPL[/caption] Xtra Time Web Desk: City of Kolkata witnessed a terrible storm during Friday evening but a few hours later what they witnessed at the Chinnaswamy stadium was nothing lesser than a tornado. Yes, Andre Russell once again proved he is the most destructive batsman in world cricket at the moment. It was due to Russell’s blazing 13 ball 48 runs, that Kolkata Knight Riders clinched an unbelievable 5 wickets win against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday night. Russell hit 7 monstrous sixes and a four in his knock. Virat Kohli and his team were on course to register their first win of the season but the Jamaican had other plans. He walked into bat with Knight Riders still needing 67 runs off 26 balls. He took only 1 run off 4 balls but it was just a lull before the storm. The next 20 minutes the capacity crowd at Chinnaswamy witnessed some destructive batting they would have believed. The Caribbean all rounder plundered the RCB bowlers for 45 runs off the next 9 balls. The loss tonight meant RCB are still winless in the 2019 Indian Premier League after 5 matches while KKR raced away to their 3rd win in 4 matches. Sunil Gavaskar was perfectly right in saying, "I did not think it was going to be possible but this man Andre Russell made the impossible possible."
