DGYdzrwWsAAmXZ0 (1) Internet Desk: Four Indian cricketers will take part in the county season after the completion of Test series against Sri Lanka. India’s ace off-spinner R Ashwin has given his confirmation to play for Worcestershire after the selectors decided to give him some rest during the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka. Except Ashwin, India’s lanky pacer Ishant Sharma and star batsman Cheteshwar Pujara will also feature the county Championship. Ravindra Jadeja too would be the part of the county cricket, but for which side he will play for is yet to be finalized. All the four players are not the part of India’s squad for the ODI series and one-off T-20 match, which will start from August 20. Ishant will be the part of Warwickshire, on the other hand Pujara will continue to play for Nottinghamshire for whom he played before the Sri Lanka series and scored a ton as well. Both Ashwin and Pujara will face each other when Worcestershire lock horns with Nottinghamshire beginning September 5. The World No.1 Indian Test side will tour England next year and this county season could help the Indian players in future too. India skipper Virat Kohli had also said earlier that he “would love” to play county cricket. India had lost the previous Test series in England 3-1.
