Xtra Time Web Desk: Rohit Sharma and co will play their first warm up game of upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 against England in Guwahati on September 30. The Men in Blue will play their second warm up game on October 3 in Thiruvananthapuram against a qualifying team. The Indian team will have a hectic schedule as they travel to 9 venues across the country in a span of 43 days.

Following the first warm-up game in Guwahati, the Indian team will travel 3400 kms to Thiruvananthapuram. From there, the Indian players will travel 620 kms to Chennai for the opening league match against Australia. Team India will next travel 2200 kms to Delhi to face Afghanistan.

The Men in Blue will travel 950 kms from Delhi to Ahmedabad to play the marquee clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 15. Following the Pakistan game, India will travel 650 km to Pune to take on Bangladesh three days later. Team India’s next destination will be 1900 kms to Dharamshala.

Rohit and his will get a 7-day break before travelling 1000 km to Lucknow to face England. From North, the Indian players will travel 1400 kms to Mumbai for the clash against a qualifying team. Indian cricket team will next travel 1900 kms from Mumbai to Kolkata for South Africa clash and then 2000 kms to the South in Bengaluru to face Qualifier 1.

If India qualifies for the semifinals, they will either travel to Mumbai (if they don’t face Pakistan) or Kolkata if they clash against Pakistan.
