Internet Desk: Concerns for Kingfisher East Bengal after losing their first game of the Hero I-League season. If the result was a reason for the headache, it could have been handled with the way the modern day coaches do in these days. But the problem for Trevor Morgan is a bit tougher than that. The forward who has scored the maximum number of goals for the Red and Gold brigade in this I-League, Willis Plaza has suffered a groin injury and might be out for weeks if it’s found serious.

The Trinidad and Tobago international has scored six goals in the league so far and appeared to be a lethal force on the up front. The East Bengal officials and team management have decided to take him to a good doctor once he reaches Kolkata from Aizawl to get the details about the availability of this highly rated forward. But at the moment, it can be said that the forward is very much uncertain in the next game against mighty Bengaluru FC and that too at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Adding to the worries, East Bengal won’t get the service of Lalrindika Ralte as the Mizo midfielder picked up his 4th yellow card of the league against Aizawl FC today. The on field pushing and exchange of words between him and Mehtab Hossain too caught the eyes of the fans today. Though the club denied any further problem between the two senior players after that.

The performance of the team had disappointed coach Trevor Morgan a lot as well. He told www.xtratime.in , “Everyone saw how bad we played today. This result is very much painful. But still, there is a long way to go”.

East Bengal coach needs to prepare afresh once he comes back from Aizawl to prepare his tactics against Bengaluru.
