Sabyasachi Bagchi: Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan breathed sigh of relief today after Chief Minster of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee’s office assured her that the CM will meet her soon to listen to her problems.

On Monday, Hasin went to Mamata Banerjee’s place from Alipore Police court. She gave a letter to CM’s office as Mamata was not at her house. In her letter she stated that how Shami & his family tortured her. After that Hasin got a call from Mamata Banerjee’s office and they said that CM will meet her very soon. Though the final date is yet to be decided as the Chief Minster is currently busy with her district tour.

On the other hand, the Anti Corruption Unit (ACU) of BCCI has progressed a lot on the case of why Shami took the from Pakistani lady Alishba. Unit head Neeraj Kumar will file his final report to the CoA chief Vinod Rai on March 22.

As per sources, the ACU has already collected some CCTV footages from Dubai’s La Maredian Hotel of the dates when Shami stayed there. Not only that, they have talked to some players and asked them how did Shami spend his time outside the field.

Beside that, they have sent letters to two five star hotels in Kolkata and asked for CCTV footages of parties of last few years in which Shami payed his visit during his tour with the Indian cricket team and his IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils.

On the other hand, the Kolkata Police is not happy with the letter sent by the BCCI. A police official unwilling to disclose his name said,” We asked the BCCI to sent the route map of all the players who took part in the South Africa tour. Not only Shami but few other players as well came back to India seperately, but the BCCI has only sent us Shami’s route map, which is pretty suspicious. And that’s why we have sent another letter to the BCCI and asked for the whole team’s route map.”
