Internet Desk: India’s second ODI against Sri Lanka will be remembered for Rohit Sharma’s famous double ton after he fired a blistering innings of 208*. This marked Rohit’s third double century as India defeated the visitors by a whooping scoreline of 141 runs. However another incident which widely went unnoticed was that of a fan who entered the pitch to touch the feet of MS Dhoni.

The fan rushed into the field to touch Dhoni’s feet despite the former captain’s best efforts to prevent the fan from doing his job. After which the fan was ultimately ushered out by the security staff who ran out into the middle of the park.

This however wasn’t the first time such an incident occurred with Dhoni as the ever fan favourite witnessed such an incident previously twice. Once in a warm-up match between India A and England in January while the second in in a Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2017.
Apart from being a fan-favourite the ever fit Dhoni too showed his absolute fitness before the start of the game in Mohali. With the stretching exercises done, Dhoni and Hardik Pandya headed for a 100-metre sprint.
With a casual start, Pandya suggested for a real race upon which Dhoni accelerated and defeated Pandya with rather ease.
India have leveled the series after Sri Lanka won the first game at Mohali.
