What would be Stuart Broad’s plan against India skipper Virat Kohli?

XtraTime Web Desk: In India’s last tour of England current India skipper Virat Kohli had a poor show as he only managed to score 134 runs in 10 innings. But Virat has prepared well this time and his batting in the limited overs format speaks for him. Though England’s star pacer Stuart Broad has special plans to stop World’s one of the best batsman.

“I will probably lean away from him being an lbw candidate early because that gets him going and once he gets in his conversion-rate is fantastic. We’ll look at footage from 2014 when we really limited the amount of runs he got,” said Broad in an interview to Daily Mail.

“He’s got runs in Australia and South Africa and scored a lot against us in India. You’ve got to stay away from his pads early which sounds ridiculous, but it is like Jonathan Trott. People said to go to his pads early, then suddenly he had hit 20 balls and he’s in,” he added.

India will play a four-day warm-up match against Essex from 25 July ahead of the Test series.
