What is MS Dhoni doing after the Asia Cup?

XtraTime Web Desk: Former India skipper MS Dhoni was a part of the squad which beat Bangladesh in a thrilling final of the Asia Cup to claim the Cup for seventh time. Though Dhoni’s form with the bat wasn’t that good but he was brilliant as always behind the stumps. The Indian cricket team is currently getting ready to face the Windies for the two-match test series, but as Dhoni has already retired from Test cricket back in 2014, he has get some time off from cricket. On Sunday he played a charity football match with some Bollywood stars like Kunal Khemu,  Ishan Khatter, Dino Morea, Aditya Roy Kapur and famous American singer Nick Jonas.





Bollywood Diva Priyanka Chopra who is Nick’s fiancé as well has posted the pictures on her instagram account.

In the absence of regular skipper Virat Kohli, India beat Bangladesh in a last-ball thriller to retain the Asia Cup last week.




During their final super four game against Afghanistan MS Dhoni led the side as stand-in-skipper Rohit Sharma was rested. It was Dhoni’s 200th ODI as captain.




During the tournament, Dhoni also completed a total of 800 dismissals in the field, becoming the first Asian player and third overall to do so.




Courtesy his exploits in the Asia Cup final, Dhoni (184) has now extended his lead for most stumpings in international cricket. Dhoni is followed by Kumar Sangakkara (139) and Romesh Kaluwitharana (101) in the list.
