Kolkata: East Bengal coach Khalid Jamil revealed the reason why he went to watch the Mohun Bagan vs Mohammedan Sporting match at Kalyani yesterday. Today, the Red and Gold gaffer kept a gym session for his players and not the usual training session. After the gym session, the East Bengal coach also spoke with the media.
Khalid told the media, “Mohammedan is a strong side. I went to see them as our next game would be against them. We need to be circumspect ahead of facing them. It won’t be an easy game for us.”
The East Bengal side though is confident ahead of the crucial fixture, as he said, “All the players are fit including the likes of VP Suhair and Salam Ranjan Singh.”
The East Bengal side will play against Mohammedan Sporting on 16th September at Kalyani.
