We have not received any written information : CAB reacts to reports over WI T20 series being played behind Closed doors
Xtra Time Web Desk : BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on Friday announced that the upcoming 3 match T20I series against West Indies, which will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, behind closed doors, courtesy of a PTI interview.
And in reply to the above statement, CAB stated, "Reacting to reports in the Media that the three T20 matches between WI and India would be held in empty stadium, CAB President Avishek Dalmiya said the following:
"There are reports in the Media that spectators would not be allowed during the three T-20 International Matches between India and West Indies to be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, later this month. However, we have not received any written intimation or information regarding the same from the BCCI till now. Therefore, we would like to refrain from issuing any reaction in the matter at present."
Now, with CAB's reply over the matter, it will be interesting to see how the upcoming T20I series against West Indies is organized.
