Internet Desk: India skipper Virat Kohli doesn’t often opens up on his love life with bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, but in an interview on Star Sports, Kohli revealed how special is Anushka to him.
Kohli described how he got really emotional after getting India’s captaincy earlier this year, with Anushka by his side.
“I was in Mohali for a Test series (against England in November 2016) and Anushka had come to visit me. Surprisingly, when I was made Test captain in Melbourne (in 2014) also she was there with me and that was a very special moment we shared.
Then, in Mohali they (Board of Control for Cricket in India) called me (to inform about captaincy) and when they hung up and I told her, it was like a flashback of when I started playing cricket at the academy till the Mohali game.
I was emotional… I was in tears. I never thought this day would ever come in my life and when it came, I was able to share it with her, which was even more beautiful. It is something I will always remember,” said Kohli.
